Mission Ridge Communities are classified as a Life Plan Community. Actually, Mission Ridge was the first community of this type in the state of Montana!
Life Plan Communities are residential campuses that provide a continuum of care ranging from retirement living to assisted living or skilled nursing, all in one location. This is an especially attractive feature to people interested in maintaining a degree of control and direction when planning their long-term care future.Members enjoy an active, independent lifestyle within in the privacy of their home, yet receive priority access to all levels of health care if it’s ever needed.
Life Plan Communities offer members a variety of home styles and a wide range of pricing options. Entrance Fee options can be used to help keep monthly expenses at a predictably lower rate than a traditional Rental Option.Portions of the service fees can also be tax-deductible as a medical expense. Finally, we offer protection against the loss of a home or services if a member exhausts his/her funds.

How Does Mission Ridge’s First Choice Waiting List Work?
Q: Is there a deposit to go on the First Choice list?
A: Yes, there’s a $1,000.00 deposit to go on the list. That deposit is then applied to the resident’s expenses at the time of move-in.
Q: What happens if you call me and I’m not ready to move?Does my name drop to the bottom of your list?
A: There’s no penalty for saying “Not yet” when offered an apartment. We simply move to the next name on the list while you keep your same spot (which is determined based on the date we receive your deposit check and other paperwork).
Q: Is there a time limit on how long I can have my name on the waiting list?

How Does the Move-In Process Work at Mission Ridge?
When a First Choice Member or other interested parties look at a Mission Ridge apartment and decide they want to make it their home, we know they won’t throw their clothes in a suitcase, and come rushing back to live here the same day! We understand moving is a process that takes some time. Here’s a typical schedule:
Look at an apartment and fall in love, knowing it’s the right one for you!
Put down an additional deposit to hold the apartment in your name for 30 days with no monthly service fee.
With the help of family, friends and/or professional downsizing or moving services, select your favorite things to bring along and find homes for the rest of the “stuff”.
Complete your Mission Ridge Health Assessment and other paperwork in preparation for your move.
On your move-in date, Mission Ridge provides box lunches for you and your helpers so you can focus on getting unpacked and settled!
